Security screen to international standards is carried out on departure after check-in. Check with your airline what you can take onboard your flight as some have specific rules on liquids, batteries, etc. More details of the security screening process can be found on our Security Screening page.
Restaurants and a cafeteria are located before security on the 2nd floor (access through hall C). Snacks including drinks can be bought after security.
Other Services available are:
Tourist Information desks – is located in the arrivals and departures areas of Terminal 1 and in Terminal 2 arrivals.
Medical Facilities – a pharmacy is located in Terminal 2 and an airport vaccination centre is situated in Terminal 1 on the 1st floor.
Elevators – are available throughout Nice Airport terminals and provide access to the car parks.
Public Telephones – are available in Terminal 1 and 2 departures and arrivals, including low-level phone booths enabling people in wheelchairs to make calls
Restrooms – There are toilet facilities in Twrminal1 and 2 arrivals and departures, as well as waiting lounges and baggage collection. Disabled toilets are available at most of these locations also.
Disabled Facilities – Two companies provide assistance for the disabled travellers at Nice Airport, inform your airline for assistance. They operate wheelchairs that are compatible with the aircraft, and vehicles to transport passengers throughout the airport.
There are shops located before and after security offering duty-free and other sales.
At Nice Airport there are several parking facilities for long stay and short stay as well as valet-style parking. There are also privately-owned car parks in the vicinity which offer shuttle buses to teh airport after leaving your car at their satellite car parks. There have been several strikes at Nice Airport over the last few decades in line with other service industry strikes to raise pay levels for workers such as baggage handlers. It is usually good practice to check online before you set off for the airport that your flight is still scheduled to leave as strikes and airline delays can affect the schedule. However nowadays over 90% of flights do depart on time.
There are some airlines which allow you to travel with your pets, check before booking though as this is becoming less common. We have provided elsewhere on our site a much more comprehensive section on travelling with pets.

Internet Access – Nice Airport (NCE) offers wireless Internet access throughout the two terminals. Salons Club lounge located in the boarding areas of each terminal also offers complimentary Internet access. And there are two Internet areas allocated in the public and boarding areas of Terminal 2. The Airport Business Centre also offers free Internet access.
Fax and Photocopying – The Salons Club lounge and the service centre located in Terminal 2 offer fax services.
