There have been several strikes at Nice Airport over the last few decades in line with other service industry strikes to raise pay levels for workers such as baggage handlers. It is usually good practice to check online before you set off for the airport that your flight is still scheduled to leave as strikes and airline delays can affect the schedule. However nowadays over 90% of flights do depart on time.
There are some airlines which allow you to travel with your pets, check before booking though as this is becoming less common. We have provided elsewhere on our site a much more comprehensive section on travelling with pets.
